Rare German violin by Heinrich August Friedel, Berlin 1929

For sale is a wonderful Berlin violin by Heinrich August Friedel, built in 1929. Instruments by this violin maker are not very common. I am currently only aware of two examples. This beautiful violin is made from an early Stradivarius model and has a stunning one-piece beautifully flamed back. The instrument is in pristine condition without any cracks or repairs and has tremendous sound quality. It is very strong, has a wonderful enamel and is very balanced. This violin is a perfect example of the fact that you don't have to spend high five-figure sums for beautiful and good sounding instruments. LOB: 35,9 cm
