Fine German violin by Otto Brückner, Markneukirchen 1929
Fine German violin by Otto Brückner, Markneukirchen 1929
A beautiful German master violin by Otto Brückner, built in Markneukirchen in 1929. The instrument is in a perfect state of preservation, it is a very nice Stradivarius copy with a two-part, heavily flamed maple back. The varnish is a very nice, lighty crackled varnish of high quality. The violin sounds wonderfully open, powerfull, well balanced over all strings and bright without to lack the certain warmth in the tone. Otto Brückner was born in Markneukirchen in 1877 and died there in 1939. He was a student of H. Jäger and also worked for the comapny Roth and Lederer in Markneukirchen.
